The publication / Privacy

How the site handles your information.

Calculator inputs stay in your browser. If you submit a form, its fields are sent to the site service for processing. Technical requests and limited page-view events may be measured without analytics cookies.

Calculator and browsing

The calculators and worksheets run in your browser. They do not send inputs or notes to a server or save them in browser storage. You can download a scenario or worksheet yourself; those files are saved by your browser. The site does not retain this work for your next visit; download anything you want to keep. The site uses system fonts and serves its photographs and illustrations locally. Its edge service can process page-view or crawler-request events; it does not set analytics cookies. Browser page-view requests honoring Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control are declined.

Forms

Newsletter, contact, and story-suggestion forms send the fields you enter, the consent choice, and the page path through this site to Sprigpost for handling. A successful newsletter request is not a confirmed subscription. Confirmation and later delivery depend on the mail service and the address; this page makes no promise that a message will arrive or that a newsletter will be sent on a schedule. Contact and suggestion requests are for editorial review, not automatic publication.

External sources

Source links take you to another website when clicked. Those sites have their own privacy practices. Linking to a document does not mean its services are active here.

Requests and services

Sprigpost handles accepted form requests; Resend may be used for confirmation or other subscription email. To ask about a submitted request or seek access or deletion, use the contact form. External services have their own practices.
